  4. Installation: tear-off, deck repairs as needed, underlayment, panels and custom trim, installed by trusted crews under the owners’ direct oversight.
  5. Final walkthrough & clean-up: a walkthrough with you once the job is complete.

Over solid decking with underlayment, a standing seam roof is typically no louder than shingles in everyday rain.

Can metal go over my existing shingles?

Sometimes, but we usually recommend a full tear-off so we can inspect and repair the decking. We’ll tell you honestly what your roof needs.

Will a metal roof attract lightning?

No. Metal does not increase the chance of a lightning strike.

Is metal a good choice for a lake house?

Yes. Aluminum standing seam is a popular choice for homes near water because aluminum does not rust.
